Golden Magazine is California’s leading travel publication, with an editorial focus on local West Coast gems. Written for lovers of travel and about the most fulfilling destinations, Golden Magazine inspires readers to travel locally, explore with purpose, try new things, and shape the future of tourism. I created this magazine based on my own travels to California; the photography is from my recent travels to Los Angeles and San Francisco. Each issue focuses on a different part of California and its local gems. “Golden” Magazine is derived from “The Golden State”. The colors are inspired by those within my photos and Californian landscapes. My approach was to create a brand that truly felt like California - warm, relaxed and welcoming. With this, I created a print magazine (Issue 01: Los Angeles), branding, a digital publication featuring Issue 02: San Francisco, mobile views of that website, and social marketing on Instagram.
